Ramy Tarek Radwan is an independent photographer, cinematographer, and university lecturer from Cairo, currently based in Greece. Ramy Tarek Radwan is curious about exploring more about what is out there in the field of photography and cinematography to broaden his possibilities to narrate his visual stories in an alternative approach while implementing new techniques in his practice.
Acknowledged internationally for award-winning contributions to film festivals and exhibitions. where He won the “Best Short Experimental” award at the Sharjah Art Foundation Film Festival in the UAE in 2020. His contributions were also acknowledged through participation in Vantage Point Sharjah 8 (VPS8) at Al Hamriyah Studios in the same year, where he showcased five compelling images. Furthermore, as a cinematographer was recognized with the “Best Cinematography” award at the MasrDotBokra Film Festival in Egypt, also in 2020.
Ramy’s work has been showcased internationally, with over 15 selections in exhibitions and festivals globally.
